PEA RIDGE — Blackhawk cheerleaders led the Pledge of Allegiance at the regular School Board meeting Monday night before being recognized and congratulated by School Board members for winning the state title for 4A in co-ed competition.
Head coach Jamie Bunting said she was proud of the team. Board member Ann Cato attributed the success not only to the students’ skills but the leadership of Bunting. “It was a good team effort and is a reflection of the leadership and transparency of that leadership,” Cato said.
