LETTER TO THE EDITOR

City is grateful

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the following people and businesses that so generously gave to the 12th annual City of Pea Ridge Christmas Food Drive. Boxes of food were delivered to 98 families this year so that they could have a more joyous holiday season. We are proud of our community and citizens for making this project such a huge success. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you and wish you a Happy New Year.

Thanks to Cannonball 4-H Club

I want to thank the Cannonball 4-H Club of Pea Ridge and their hard working leaders, Mr. and Mrs. Isgrigg, for their wonderful box of goodies they put together for me and my buddies here in Afghanistan. We really do appreciate the magazines and goodies. The letters from the kids themselves were so great! My barracks were the envy of the base!

My Grandma, Jackie Jobe, had mentioned I was serving here when Mrs. Lea Isgrigg was styling her hair and she got the idea it would be a good project for her club to send a gift box to me. I did get it before Christmas, too!

You guys really gave our morale a lift and we are forever grateful to you all. It is just so great when younger people get together and do nice things for others. Keep up the good work! You are on the right track in life. Thanks so much for thinking of us and may God bless you each and every one!
