— Marilyn Ann Borcherts

Marilyn Ann Borcherts, 77, of Siloam Springs, Ark., died Aug. 26, 2012, at her home.

She was born Dec. 23, 1934, in Browntown, Wis., to Ward and Delva Merritt.

She married Richard Borcherts on Dec. 24, 1953, in Rockford, Ill.

She enjoyed the fine arts of homemaking and was part of the Quilt Club in Rockford.

She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her husband of the home; three daughters, Debbie Daugherty and husband Bear of Siloam Springs, Melody Bowers and husband Richard of Stillman Valley, Ill., and Pam Willis and husband Chris of Gig Habor, Wash.; a son, Steve Borcherts and wife Susan of Roscoe, Ill.; a brother, Ronnie Merritt of Monroe, Wis.; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date inBrowntown, Wis.

Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs is in charge of arrangements.

Lucille Gavigan

Lucille Gavigan, 85, of Leach, Okla., died Aug. 26, 2012, at Grove Integris Hospital in Grove, Okla.

She was born July 19, 1927, in Delaware County, Okla., to Charlie and Linnie Vann Turtle.

She lived in California for 60 years before moving back to Oklahoma in 2005.

She was a technician in the engineering department for Varyin Associated for 35 years.

She built the first prototype circuit board for Steve Jobs of Apple.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Donna.

She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Sweed and husband Earl of Danville, Calif.; three grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 29, 2012, at Long Prairie Church, near Kansas, Okla., with Chane Rogers and the Rev. Jess Glass officiating.

Burial will follow at Long Prairie Cemetery.

James Lee Ridley

James Lee Ridley, 70, of Kansas, Okla., died Aug. 28, 2012, at Quail Ridge Living Center in West Siloam Springs, Okla.

He was born Feb. 27, 1942, in Tulsa, Okla., to Charles and Clover Mercer Ridley.

He was a mechanical engineer for McJunkinRedman Oil and Gas Meter Systems in Tulsa.

He moved to Kansas from Tulsa three yearsago and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in West Siloam Springs.

He is survived by his wife Karen Myers Ridley of Kansas.

Mina Ruth Robb

Mina Ruth Robb, 89, longtime resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died August 27, 2012, at Russellville Nursing Center, Russellville, Arkansas.

Born October 13, 1922, in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of John Herbert Shepp and Edna Smith Shepp.

She was a kindergarten teacher, and taught in the Siloam Springs Public School prior to her retirement.

She married Eldon Robb in Kansas City, Missouri, on November 9, 1943.

Mina Ruth was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa, the Koinania Club, PEO Chapter CE, andthe United Methodist Wo m e n’s Group. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, SiloamSprings for over 50 years. She was also the church organist for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon; one brother, John Shepp, and one granddaughter, Robin Woods.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Judy and husband Dwight of League City, Texas, Nancy House and husband Richard of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Linda Woods and husband Bruce of Russellville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Megan McClure, Stephen Judy, MatthewHouse, Kimberly Mask, and Ryan Woods; great grandchildren, Emma and Madelyn McClure, Jackson and Riley House, Avery and Brody Mask, Taylor, Trevor, Tessa, and Talyn Woods; and two sisters, Lois Gerber of West Plains, Missouri, and Dorothy Webb of Newbern, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, with Dr. Randy Rowlan and Dr. Richard House officiating.

Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery, Decatur, Arkansas.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
