PEA RIDGE — GARFIELD - NEBCO Fire/EMS will have a Labor Day Country Breakfast from 7-10 a.m.
Monday, Sept. 3 at NEBCO Community Center, 17823 Marshall Street (U.S. Hwy. 62), Garfield. The breakfast will include sausage, bacon, ham, eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and a drink.
Price is $7 for adults; $4 for children ages 5-12; children under 5 eat free. All proceeds go to NEBCO Emergency Medical Services.
Emerson Electric Motor Company reunion slated
ROGERS - A reunion for the former employees of Emerson Electric Motor Company, Rogers, will be from noon - 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Lake Avalon Park in Bella Vista. The company was in business for over 35 years in Rogers, and closed in 2001.

NWA Master Naturalists fall training class scheduled
The Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists chapter will begin a fall training class for new recruits on Sept. 8. Master Naturalists is an organization dedicated to educating its members about the environment and natural resources in their area.
Training is provided in a wide range of topics such as interpretive programs for local and state parks, wildlife surveys, trail maintenance, tree identification, stream management, etc. Members are then encouraged to support natural areas in their community through volunteering.
Classes are held most Saturdays, Sept. 8 - Dec. 15, at various locations.
Class fee is $135 and includes reference materials and nearly 100 hours of instruction. Information and applications for the training program are available at www.Home.Arkansas-MasterNaturalists.org.

NEBCO Turkey Shoot, Raffle & Rib Cook-Off set
GARFIELD - The NEBCO 19th Annual Turkey Shoot and Rib Cook-off fund raiser will be from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at NEBCO Fire/EMS Station No. 1, U.S. Hwy. 62 and S. Wimpy Jones Road, Garfield.
There will be a raffle which will include about 200 prizes, including a large flat screen TV donated by Sam’s Clubs.
Winners do not have tobe present to win. Raffle ticket prices are: 120 tickets for $100; 60 tickets for $50; 24 tickets for $20; 12 tickets for $10; or 6 tickets for $5.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and will include baby back pork ribs, pulled pork, chicken breast patties, baked beans, Cole slaw, dessert and drink. Lunch prices are $9 for adults and $5 for children ages 10 and under.

NEBCO Indoor Craft Fair and Flea Market scheduled
GARFIELD - NEBCO Fire/EMS will have an Indoor Craft Fair and Flea Market from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Oct. 19 - 21 at the NEBCO Community Center, 17823 Marshall Street (U.S. Hwy.
62), Garfield.
There are 35 tables available for rent. Early registration receives discounted table rentals. Tables must be reserved by Oct. 12.
Prices of rentals are: Before Sept. 15 - $60 for first round table, $50 each subsequent table; after Sept. 15 - $75 for first round table, $60 for each subsequent table.
