BENTON COUNTY — Four persons have expressed an interest in the vacant School Board expected to be filled Tuesday night at a special School Board meeting.
Former School Board members Ron Mullikin and Sandy Button, as well as Shane Willis and Edwin Brewer, have each expressed interest in the seat which will be open for election in September 2012.
Dr. Roland Smith, schoolsuperintendent, said he expects the board to allow each candidate to speak in public session, then retire to executive session to make a decision.
The seat was vacated by Rick Webb with a letter of resignation earlier this month.
