Area Semifinalist
Pea Ridge High School senior Katelyn M. Hudson is one of the semifinalists in contention with more than 40 northwest Arkansas high school seniors in the competition for National Merit Scholarships.
Some 16,000 semifinalists have been named for the2012 scholarship competition. The semifinalists can continue the competition for about 8,300 National Merit Scholarships worth $34 million by meeting several requirements of the competition.
The scholarships will be announced next spring and summer.
