Seven warrants issued:

◊8/29 Cheyanna N. Jones, 21, contempt failure to pay fines and costs;

◊9/1 Christopher Ennis, 37, Pea Ridge, contempt failure to pay fines and costs, and on warrants from Little Flock and Bella Vista;

◊9/1Dale Cooper, 62, Pea Ridge, contempt failure to pay fines and costs;

◊9/2 Vanessa Barrett, 22, Pea Ridge, contempt failure to pay fines and costs;

◊9/2 Roy Corshia, 29, Pea Ridge, contempt failure to complete public service;

◊9/3 Cody Garner, 21, Pea Ridge, failure to appear; and

◊9/4 Tyler Yeakley, 23, Springdale, contempt failure to pay fines and costs.

Monday, Aug. 29

10:45 a.m. A traffic stop on East Pickens resulted in the arrest of Michael Wells, 40, of Tulsa, for driving on a suspended driver’s license and on a warrant for Rogers. He was transferred to Rogers police.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

12:15 p.m. An agency assist for a one-vehicle accident at Mariano and Looney roads involving. A vehicle had apparently run off the road and hit a tree. Police stood by until deputies arrived.

1:25 a.m. An agency assist for the ambulance department at a residence on Smith Street in reference to a 22-year-old male who appeared to be unconscious, who apparently had been in a one-vehicle accident earlier in the evening in the county. The incident was referred to Benton County Sheriff’s deputies.

6 p.m. An anonymous caller reported suspicious circumstance in the Eagle Crest area involving several young females supposedly looking in a drain for a cat.

6:51 p.m. The report of a possible fight at City Park. Police noticed two juveniles walking away from the park on their way to the scene to investigate.The caller reported juvenilesthrowing rocks at one another and fighting.The description of the suspect matched the person police saw walking away. The investigation led to the issuance of written trespass citations to two juvenile males, one age 13, because the suspects admitted to crawling through a fence and “boxing” at the city cemetery, as well.

8:15 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge High School, the building was secure.

8:25 p.m. Suspicious circumstances at a residence on Cherry Street in which the caller reported a door-todoor salesman who was “too pushy.” The salesman was located and warned the salesman not to go to that address any more.

9 p.m. A 21-year-old female at EZ Mart reported harassing communications via text by her ex-boyfriend.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

8:56 a.m. A minor accident at Sonic involving a vehicle pulling a trailer which struck the speaker box. The driver was Michael Davis, 53, Bentonville.

Thursday, Sept. 1

11:39 a.m. Theft from a residence on South Curtis Avenue of a Coleman gas powered generator sometime between 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, and 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1.

1:41 p.m. A possible fraud report from Autumn Place Village.The investigator determined the incident to be a civil matter.

4:52 p.m. A 14-year-old male foster child runaway was last seen in the area of the City Park. He was found on Hayden Road, picked up and taken to the police station. He was later turned over to the Department of Human Services.

5:30 p.m. A stray dog on J.W. Montgomery was picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

7 p.m. A black male dog was running loose on the grounds of the Pea Ridge football field. It was captured and taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Friday, Sept. 2

7:44 a.m. In an agency assist for Rogers Police, arrested Jacob Roller, 25, Pea Ridge.

8:35 p.m. Two small dogs were reported running loose in the areaof Griffin Lane. Police were unable to locate.

9:05 p.m. Alarm at Legacy Self-Storage; police spoke to the manager, who said she had set it off by mistake.

10:40 p.m. A complaint about a barking dog on Asboth Street; police were unable to locate.

Saturday, Sept. 3

3:45 a.m. A complaint about a loud party at a residence on Eagle Crest;

police spoke to the people and advised them to quiet down.

4 a.m. Criminal mischief reported at a residence on St. Clair.The reporting party said he saw two males walking in the area, heard glass breaking and then discovered the window of his nephew’s truck had been broken. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

4:55 a.m. Suspicious circumstances on Chapman Street of a male laying on the porch of a residence. The resident said the man had come to his door asking for assistance saying a woman had sprayed him in the face with pepper spray. Police arrested the suspect, James Thornton, 22, Pea Ridge, for disorderly conduct.

11:15 a.m. An anonymous caller reported a person possibly wanted on a Benton County warrant at a residence on Bancroft. Police located and arrested Jill Jones, 32, Pea Ridge, on a Benton County warrant.

9:21 a.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge High School, a representative was on the scene and reported the alarm was set off accidentally.

5 p.m. A resident on Washburn Street reported that his wife came home to find mail scattered in their front yard and said that he saw a young child looking in his neighbor’s mailbox. Police found a 6-year-old boy matching the description at a neighboring residence and talked to the mother about the child’s actions.

9:25 p.m. Police stood by at a medical call at a residence on McNair Streetuntil the ambulance arrived.

Sunday, Sept. 4

11:03 a.m. Police were asked to check the welfare of a white male walking on Carr Street yelling, screaming and hitting himself. Police located the man, Christopher Watkins, 30, of Pea Ridge, at the Subway Restaurant.

He was arrested for public intoxication.

5:30 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on Bancroft involving a vehicle driven by Carmen Ellis, 31, Pea Ridge, and a parked vehicle owned by Sheila Townsend of Joplin, Mo.

5:30 p.m. A resident on Bancroft Road reported harassing communications. The investigation revealed that two former sisters-in-law were exchanging threatening text communications. Both were warned to cease.

6 p.m. Alarm at Pea Ridge Intermediate School, the was no representative available, building was secure.

Monday, Sept. 5

10:11 a.m. Notified by employees from the Street Department that a small brown dog wearing a halter was chained to a street sign at Clark and McRae streets. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

10:21 a.m. Animal bite at a residence on John W. Montgomery involving a black and white“farm dog” which attacked the caller’s Cocker Spaniel leaving a laceration on the neck. Police were unable to locate the attacking dog.

11:45 p.m. Alarm, Pea Ridge Intermediate School, no representative available, the building was secure.

9:41 p.m. A resident on St. Clair Street reported a possibly disturbance;

the caller heard a person yelling. Police checked but were unable to determine whether there was a disturbance.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

5:15 a.m. A verbal disturbance at a residence on St. Clair Street. Police located a male who was at the residence uninvited and escorted him home.
