PEA RIDGE — The Summer Reading Program ended Saturday, July 23, with a pizza party at Jim’s Razorback Pizza. Plans had been to have it at the City Park, but with the temperature so high we decided to move it indoors. We had very good pizza and a very good time. Thanks to Jim’s for making room for us on short notice.

Keep reading! What a treat it has been to see these boys and girls each week as they come in to the library to check out more books! And a special thank you to the parents who made the time to get the children to the library and encouraged their reading.
The kids who attend the story hour on Thursday morning arehaving such a good time with Ms. Heather. They were a lively group this past week. Thank you parents/grandparents who come and stay for the hour. We are posting photos in the library so stop in and take a look.
Work is progressing on the new building and we are working on ideas for the layout, etc. Patience is not my strong suit so waiting for the move in will not be easy.
So many new books have been added in the last couple of weeks. I will try to keep a list of the new releases on my desk. If a book you areinterested in reading has been checked out you can write your library card number next to name of the book and be added to the waiting list.
And once again I want to thank everyone who is supporting the library by reading, by coming in for a library card and by donating books. Your support means so much to the library and the community.
