George Washington Carver National Monument

DIAMOND, Mo. - “A Genius Remembered,” a 30 - minute film that explores the life of George Washington Carver, will be shown at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, and Sunday, Jan. 8, at the George Washington Carver National Monument. The story is told by people who actually knew him and by others whose work was influenced by his legacy.

The park is located two miles west of Diamond, Mo., on Missouri Hwy. V, then 1/4 mile south on Carver Road. The visitor center and park grounds are open daily from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
