PEA RIDGE — Police received several reports Monday morning of break-ins involving items being taken from vehicles in the Givens subdivision.
According to Police Chief Tim Ledbetter, at least four residents reported that their vehicles parked in their driveways had been broken into overnight and items stolen. Items included GPS and stereos.
One resident reported his vehicle was locked.
“People should be very cautious about leaving valuables in their vehicles and should be diligent about locking their vehicles,” Ledbetter said, adding that if anyone had seen anything suspicious, they may report it to the police at 451-8220.
