PEA RIDGE — Pride Night is Friday, Aug. 26.
The events will begin with seventh-grade football at 6 p.m. The gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26.
All fall athletes will be introduced and fed a meal. Theseinclude athletes involved in volleyball, cross country, golf, spirit teams and football teams. Both the junior high and senior high cheer squads will perform.
The junior high football team will show the community someof their plays for the upcoming season. The senior high team will do a team scrimmage.
Meals will be available to the public, hamburger meals are $5 and hot dog meals are $3. That includes chips, drink, and dessert.
Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students. The cheerleaders will also have the “Proud Home of a Pea Ridge Blackhawk” yard signs for $10.
The sponsors for this event include: Hienz, Flower Foods, Community First Bank, Farmland and the senior high cheer parents.
Other major contributors this year have been the Senior Class of 2012, Pea Ridge Optimist Club, Walmart Print, Mail and Distribution Center.
