PEA RIDGE — Mule Jump planning
The 2010 Pea Ridge Mule Jump’s planning process meeting is at 7 p.m.
Monday, July 19, at City Hall. It takes many volunteers to plan the annual event.
Chairman Nathan See urges community members who are interested in helping ensure the event continues attend the meeting.
Special Optimist meeting set
The Pea Ridge Optimist Club will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 22, at the Pea Ridge Middle School cafeteria. Tim Pate, Pea Ridge High School AP biology teacher, will present a slide show of the AP students’ recent trip to South Dakota.
Pea Ridge art teacher John McGee will show off the winning art for this year’s Mule Jump art contest sponsored by the club.
The public is welcome.
