— Flu shots and free screenings offered

Collier Drug Store in Pea Ridge is offering a Customer Appreciation Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22.

Customers may take in all current medications for a free medications review, and receive free blood pressure and glucose checks.

Flu shots will also be available, both for the H1N1 virus and regular seasonal flu. H1N1 shots are $5 and the regular seasonal flu shots are $28 and can be billed to Medicare with the Red, White and Blue card.

NEBCO spaghetti dinner benefit fire department

GARFIELD - The Northeast Benton County Volunteer Fire Department will have an all-you-can-eat spaghetti fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the NEBCO Community Center, 17823 Marshall St. (U.S. Highway 62), in Garfield featuring all-youcan-eat spaghetti, drink and dessert.

Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children ages 5-12 and free for children under 5.

All proceeds go to the building fund for the new NEBCO fire station number two on Posy Mountain.
