PEA RIDGE — At the 2009 Cross Country Championships Saturday, Nov. 7, the Pea Ridge High School boys team took on competitors in Mountain Home.
In the 5K, all-state runner Colton Holtgrewe led Pea Ridge runners with a time of 19:03.87. Colby Schooley came in next with a timeof 19:45.
Other runners’ times were: Dakota Woodward, 21:28; Dalton Fisher, 23:26; Austin Easterling 23:33; Briar Sample,23:52; Ryan Roughton, 24:57; and Dayton Winn, 26:17.
The team’s combined time, 1:47:18, put them in sixth place overall.

Pro Camp - Domenic Mediate will conduct a winter soccer camp All-Star Sports Arena in Springdale Mediate formerly played for the Comets and in the MLS for Columbus Crew and DC United. The weekend campis Dec. 19-20 and the cost is $100 for ages 8-11 (10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.) and ages 12-15 (3-7:30 p.m.).
