Baggett recommends White

Dear Editor,

My name is Mary Baggett, a Bentonville native, and I would like to recommend Merrill White who is a candidate for a seat on the Pea Ridge City Council. Having served 14 years on the Bentonville City Council, that privilege has given me the insight to understand that one of the most important acts of an alderman is to listen to his constituents, whether they are for or against an issue.

I have often asked his opinion of an issue and have been impressed by his wisdom and understanding and his willingness to take the time. He is a true Patriot, having served his country with a tour of duty in Iraq, 23 years of service for 1st Cavalry Division, also the Army National Guard, retiring as a 1st Sgt. He is a devoted husband, involved father, a volunteer with Sheep Dog Impact Assistance team and is a cattle farmer and a man of integrity. He is always available to help where needed.

I believe you will find a listening ear in Merrill White as your representative. Thank you for your consideration of my friend.

Mary Baggett
