Martin Maxwell Ackley
Martin Maxwell Ackley, 70, of Springdale, Ark., died May 14, 2020, in the Veterans Home in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born April 4, 1950, in Dusseldorf, Germany, to John Mayes and Dorothy Jenneman Ackley.
He was a Vietnam veteran serving tours of duty with the U.S. Army in the Mekong Delta. He worked in construction for various companies throughout his life both in Tulsa and northwest Arkansas. He graduated from Sooner High School in Bartlesville, Okla., and attended Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents of Fayetteville, Ark.
Survivors are his his wife Patricia (Pat) Ackley; three children, Amber Dawn (Bruce) Hawkins of Tulsa, Okla., Maxwell Ackley of Malvern, Ark., and Marka (Derrick) Rapenchuk of Pueblo, Colo., stepchildren, Michelle Webster of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Walter Snyder of Clyde, N.Y.; and two sisters, Tommi Louise Perkins (Larry) and Patricia (Patty) Jill Pummill, both of Fayetteville.
No services are planned.

Jerry Powell, 72, of Pea Ridge, died Thursday, May 21, 2020. He was born Feb. 26, 1948, in Huntsville, Ark., to Merle and Berth Powell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Don Powell and J.R. Powell; and a sister, Lois Satterfield.
Survivors are his wife of 10 years, Mary Powell; two sons, Johnny Powell and Stacy Powell; his siblings, Doris Carter (Virgil), Sue Ward (Jerry), Joyce Glenn (Tom), Merlin Robinson (Gordon), Jim Powell (Euella), and Barbara Hall (Dave); a granddaughter, Kayelea Bowlin; grandson, Bailey Bowlin; a great-grandson, Clark Robinson; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial services will be held at a later date.
