Ann Early, state archeologist with the Arkansas Archeological Survey, will discuss the art and craft of prehistoric Indian pottery at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 19, in the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History.

The Old Ozarks Program and Booksigning

Brooks Blevins, professor of Ozark studies at Missouri State University, will discuss his latest book, A History of the Ozarks, Volume 1: The Old Ozarks, at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept.29, in the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. In "The Old Ozarks," the first of a trilogy, Blevins explores the region's history from first human habitation up to the beginning of the Civil War.

Copies of The Old Ozarks will be available for purchase. Cost is $34.95 plus tax.
