Stitched With Love
Stitched With Love had its monthly meeting on Aug. 21, 2018. It was a working meeting, with members cutting the batting for the quilt kits for members to take home and sew. After cutting the batting there was a short meeting, a time of fellowship and refreshments.
Thanks to all of the members who returned their quilts and hats. Another shipment of 59 quilts and 44 hats has been delivered to Arkansas Children's Hospital at Little Rock. Members appreciate ACH Northwest Springdale where we can take the items and they will transport them to Little Rock for us.
Stitched With Love will have a booth at the Pea Ridge Mule Jump on Oct. 13. We will have a Blackhawk Quilt made by Diane McCoy and a three-dimensional wooden bowl made by Darrel Wooldridge to be sold through a silent auction to the highest bid at 3 p.m. that day. We will let you know later where these items will be on display for a few weeks before the Mule Jump.
Sewers and or quilters looking for a feel good experience, are invited to come and check out this group.
