Virginia Lee Gill

Virginia Lee Gill, 64, Rogers, died Saturday, May 14, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born Oct. 26, 1946, in El Dorado, Kan., to Harry Lee Wassman and Mildred Virginia Still Wassman.

She worked part time at Sams Club in Bentonville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Jack and Sam Wassman.

Survivors include her husband, Ross Gill; two sons, Billy and Bobby Gill of Rogers; one daughter, Lucretia Bell and husband, Matthew, of Pea Ridge; a sister, Patty Martin of Garfield; and three grandchildren.

Visitation was Tuesday May 17, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Service will be at 2 p.m.

Wednesday, May 18, at Garfield Church of Christ, with Bobby Vaughn officiating.

Burial will be at Rogers City Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Cynthia Sheree Hayes

Cynthia Sheree Griffin Hayes, 52, of Pea Ridge, died Saturday, May 14. She wasborn Jan.

10, 1959, to Wendell and Laynette Griffin of Dallas, Texas.

She wasa kindergarten teacher in the public schools for 28 years.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Hayes of the home; two sons, Shawn Hayes and Kevin Hayes of Pea Ridge; a daughter, Danee Hayes of Edmond, Okla.; her mother Laynette Griffin Johnson of Princeton, Texas; a sister, Teresa Williams of Piedmont, Okla.; and a brother, Douglas Griffin of Oklahoma City.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge.

Essie Irene Sisco

Essie Irene Sisco, 89, of Garfield, died Thursday, May 12, at her home. She was born May 31, 1921, in Success, Ark., to William Issac Carmickle and Nora Edna Sago Carmickle.

She moved to the area from Illinois in 1972 to make her home. She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking,reading, quilting and church activities. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Garfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Melvin, Bob, Marion, Ike and Charles Carmickle; two sisters, Bulah Knowlton and Opal Armstrong; and one grandson, Brion Cray.

Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Ted Sisco of the home, who she married March 24, 1937; two daughters, Ann Gowin and Bob of Jerseyville, Ill., and Viola Cray and Ray of Garfield; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 16, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Service was at 10 a.m.

Tuesday, May 17, at the funeral home, with Bobby Vaughn officiating.

Burial was at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield.

Michael ‘Mike’ Eugene Villines

Michael “Mike” Eugene Villines, 57, of Pea Ridge, died Tuesday, May 10. Hewas born May 6, 1954, in Harrison to James Marshall Villines and Mary Irene Oredener.

Villines was a district manager for Wal-Mart for 33 years. He was a lifetime farmer, very active in Pea Ridge Little League, Babe Ruth and attended First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Patty Villines; one brother, Curt Villines; two sisters, Ann Keeling and Jeannie Villines.

Survivors include four sons, Jason, Michael, Adam and Marcus Villines, all of Pea Ridge; two brothers, Jerry Villines of Bella Vista,and Frank Villines of Harrison; and three sisters, Marilyn Reed and Sharon Tatro of Harrison and Leona Ice of Cave Springs.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 13, at First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

Service was at 9 a.m.

Saturday, May 14, at the church, with pastor Al Fowler officiating.

Burial was at Stonehill Cemetery in Salem, Mo.

Ralph Edward Walker

Ralph Edward Walker, 71, of Rogers, died May 14, in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 26, 1939, in Hennepin, Okla., the son of Frank and Marguerite Johnson Walker.

He was an electronic technician for Glad Corp.

for 32 years. Walker helped start and organize the Ozark Mountain Bassett Rescue and a longtime volunteer with the Boy Scouts.He was a charter member and deacon of Grace Baptist Church in Rogers. He also served in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian, and one son, David.

Survivors include his son, Daniel Walker of Pea Ridge; a daughter Cynthia Breece of Rogers; brothers and sisters, Ray Walker of Bentonville, Mary Campbell of Rogers, Bill Walker of Broken Arrow, Okla., Ruth Byler of Rogers and Lois Wilder of Benton; and four grandchildren Fairlane Breece, Dakota Walker, Kaytlin Walker and Kelsey Kieter.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Grace Baptist Church with Randy Parks officiating. Interment with full military honors in the Rogers Cemetery.
