Music Night continues

GARFIELD -- Music Night at the Firehouse with the Black Oak Band offers music and dancing from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, with no cover charge, plenty of parking and room to dance. All of donations given go to NEBCO Fire-EMS. Remaining performances will be Sept. 8 and Sept. 22.

Turkey Shoot planned

GARFIELD -- The 25th annual NEBCO Fire-EMS Turkey Shoot, rib luncheon and cornhole tournament is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. The turkey shoot is from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There will be shotgun, clay bird, poker and archery.

Family fun includes bingo, silent auction, Daisy BB gun range, all-day raffle with raffle tickets available from any NEBCO volunteer and all day during the event.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lunch includes ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, dessert and a drink. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children 10 and younger.

The Cornhole tournament will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is a $50 entry fee per team with a first prize of $200 and second prize of $100. Teams must provide their own regulation sized board. Entry fee payments will be accepted on the website NEBCOFIREEMS.ORG using Paypal or check or cash in the office or by male. For more information, call 479-350-3134.
