Monday, Oct. 8

8:38 p.m. Police were dispatched to a parking lot at 150 S. Curtis Ave. for a private property accident involving a parked vehicle owned by a 17-year-old male and a vehicle which had left the scene. As a result of the investigation, police cited a 16-year-old female for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

9:05 p.m. As a result of information received, police found drugs and drug paraphernalia at a residence on McRae Lane. On Oct. 9, police received a felony warrant for Brian Chadwell for felony possession of drug paraphernalia and served it on Chadwell in the jail.

Tuesday, Oct. 9

1:07 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McCulloch Street for a burglary/disturbance. No charges were filed.

2 p.m. Police transported Robert Clayton Douglas, 31, Pea Ridge, and Harley Mattox to Benton County Jail for court commit. Douglas was in for a commitment. Mattox was booked in connection with disorderly conduct/felony second-degree battery.

Wednesday, Oct. 10

1:34 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Daffney A. Dunn, 44, Garfield, in connection with possession of a meth or cocaine with purpose to deliver; possession of a controlled substance Sch. II; possession of drug paraphernalia, brake light out and no proof of insurance.

4:43 p.m. Police received a report of theft from a business on Sugar Creek Road involving fuel stolen from an elevated tank. As a result of the investigation, the Benton County prosecutor approved probable cause for a warrant for arrest for the subject who was contacted and refused to speak to police.

Friday, Oct. 12

12:36 a.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic for a resident of Bentonville who reported finding two dogs on East Pickens Road.

2:12 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Walmart Neighborhood Market for a theft report involving an incident that happened on Saturday, Sept. 29, involving two females. As a result of the investigation, police issued a citation in connection with shoplifting to Selestina Marie Garcez, 36, Rogers.

2:44 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Mary Phelps Drive for an animal at large call involving two stray dogs. Police requested an employee of the city Street Department to transport the dogs to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. On Saturday, Oct. 13, Thomas G. Anderson, 34, Pea Ridge, claimed the dogs and was cited in connection animal at large.

3:59 p.m. Police were dispatched to East Pickens Road for a one-vehicle motor-vehicle accident involving a vehicles driven by a 16-year-old male.

Sunday, Oct. 14

3:44 p.m. A resident of Van Dorn Street reported a stray dog was at his house. He agreed to transport the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Monday, Oct. 15

5:30 p.m. Police were dispatched to the intersection of Patton and Bowen streets for a motor-vehicle accident involving vehicles partially blocking the road involving vehicles driven by Steven Fountain, 24, Pea Ridge, and James Conrad Dixon, 53, Pea Ridge. Dixon was cited for no insurance.
