FFA September news

Pea Ridge FFA had a busy month! On Sept. 11, the chapter hosted their 29th annual ice cream social. The first official event of the school year had about 60 people in attendance. It was the first time this year's officers got to put their hard work on the opening ceremony on display. It was a lot of fun with a lot of ice cream.

On Sept. 22, four students participated in an FFA/4H pullet show.

On Sept. 27, 42 students went to the Arkansas-Oklahoma state fair to participate in different judging competitions and three students competed in the tractor driving contest. There were six students that judged poultry, 24 judged livestock, and nine judged dairy cattle. The livestock competition consists of judging goats, sheep, and cattle. After judging ended students had time to go out and enjoy the fair.

The month of September was very good for Pea Ridge FFA. The officers are hoping to keep the rest of the year busy and fun.
