Monday, March 12

8:15 a.m. Residents of Fields Drive reported theft by fraud involving a wire transaction to purchase an item for $15,000. The item was not delivered.

9:55 a.m. A 17-year-old male reported receiving harassing phone calls late at night and involving racial slurs. He did not want to prosecute.

10:29 a.m. A resident of John Montgomery Circle reported a dog at large. The dog was followed to a residence on North Ark. Highway 94 The owner, Gavin Collins, 28, Pea Ridge, was cited with dog at large.

1:50 p.m. A business owner reported criminal mischief involving a damaged fence at 750 Slack St.

2:30 p.m. A 15-year-old male reported his wallet was missing and contained more than $100 in it. On March 13, the missing wallet was turned into the school office and all money and contents were still inside it.

Tuesday, March 13

9 a.m. Police received information that a 17-year-old girl is sending nude photographs of herself via a social media program on a cell phone to older men. The incident is apparently being investigated by Benton County Sheriff's Department.

11:13 a.m. Police were dispatched to a business in town for a possibly intoxicated person who had been in the restroom for a long time. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Joshua B. Hathorn, 37, Rogers, on a felony warrant from Benton County and a misdemeanor warrant from Rogers; and in connection with theft by receiving and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.

7 p.m. As a result of an investigation, police arrested Travis Clark, 39, Pea Ridge, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance;. and cited David R. Moore, 31, Pea Ridge, in connection with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. On March 14, police searched the residence after obtaining a search warrant and confiscated several items related to the possession of narcotics, according to the police report.

Wednesday, March 14

3:30 p.m. Police were notified of a fight between two youth on school property. As a result of the investigation, on March 15, police cited a 13-year-old male in connection with disorderly conduct.

Thursday, March 15

11:38 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Ford Street for a dog that was found. Street Department personnel were called to transport the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. The dog's owner, John McClellan, 74, Russellville, claimed the dog and was cited in connection with dog at large.

11:44 a.m. A 15-year-old female was issued a citation in connection of use of tobacco on campus as a result of an investigation into evidence of someone smoking in the girls' bathroom at the Middle School.

4:16 p.m. Police were requested by an officer from Arkansas Probation and Parole Office to arrest Joshua Courtney for a probation violation. Courtney, 35, Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with possession of a controlled substance (Sch. I or II - methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine); possession of a controlled substance (Sch. VI) and possession of drug paraphernalia (not for methamphetamine) and issued a white warrant from his probation officer. Ashton Breyann Hill, 28, Pea Ridge, was arrested in connection with possession of a controlled substance (Sch. I or II - methamphetamine); possession of drug paraphernalia (methamphetamine); possession of a controlled substance (Sch. IV); and possession of a controlled substance (Sch. VI). Items seized included a small baggie containing suspected methamphetamine, a small baggie containing suspected marijuana and a blue glass pipe and a light bulb containing suspected methamphetamine residue.

10:09 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Turner Way for an animal at large involving three dogs found in the resident's yard. The complainant agreed to transport the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. On Friday, March 16,at 9 a.m. the owner of two of the dogs claimed them. The owner, Coltin Rhuems, 23, Pea Ridge, said a tree branch fell on his fence allowing his dogs to get out of his yard. He was cited for dog at large.

Saturday, March 17

2 p.m. A resident of Drew Lane reported criminal mischief involving mail box vandalism involving several mail boxes on Weston Street apparently being struck by a vehicle.

4:01 p.m. Police received information of a strong odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle parked at a business on Slack Street with two people inside who appeared to be drinking. As a result of the investigation, police charged Bryan R. Barber, 42, Garfield, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

10:54 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Guy B. Williams, 50, Bentonville, in connection with DWI #2 and driving left of center.

Sunday, March 18

3:40 a.m. As a result of an investigation into a report of two suspicious males near a business, police cited Michael Thomas Highsmith, 18, Hubert, Okla., in connection with minor in possession of alcohol.

4:29 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lynn Drive for a physical disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Brett Germaine, 22, Pea Ridge, third-degree domestic battering, and Alexander N. Lawhon, 24, Pea Ridge, third-degree domestic battering.
