8:07 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for a report of a theft of a bicycle.

Wednesday, June 6

12:45 p.m. Police were dispatched to a breaking and entering in progress at the Legacy Storage Facility, Weston Street, which was the site of a residential burglary that morning, according to the police report. After the investigation, police released the suspects.

Friday, June 8

12:38 p.m. A resident of Van Dorn Street reported a fraud involving someone reporting to be a representative of a law firm attempted to get money from her.

Tuesday, June 12

1:50 p.m. Police arrested Crystal Lea Lynch, 36, Pineville, Mo., on a one-day court commit for contempt of court fine and costs by order of Judge R. Bunch.

2:20 p.m. Police arrested Justin W. Rodriguez, 21, Rogers, on a one-day court commit by order of Judge R. Bunch.

8:23 p.m. A resident of O.D. Bancroft reported a male hound mix dog had come to her house. The complainant transported the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic where it was impounded.

8:35 p.m. Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcycle being driven southbound on Arkansas Highway 94 north of town at approximately 103 miles per hour at 8:35 p.m. The driver turned onto It'll Do /McNelly roads in what appeared to be an attempt to flee. Benton County Sheriff's deputies joined the pursuit as the motorcycle took off down Mariano Road. During the pursuit on dirt roads, the BCSO unit struck the Pea Ridge unit then ran through a metal fence gate before coming to rest in a field across from the intersection with Andy Buck Road. Police terminated the pursuit at 8:38 p.m. An Arkansas State Police trooper responded to the scene to investigated the accident.

Wednesday, June 13

3:09 p.m.Police were dispatched to a residence on Carr Street to help the Pea Ridge Fire Department on a medical call because a lady had fallen and her dog would not let the paramedics get to the patient. It was learned that a 17-year-old male was walking past the residence when he saw the lady fall from heat-related health problems and attempted to help her when her dog attacked and bit him.

4:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Walmart Neighborhood Market for a private property two-vehicle accident involving vehicles driven by James Lee Farrell, 44, of Garfield, and Kathleen Ruth Gardner, 87, Stillwater, Okla.

7:45 p.m. A resident of Zachary Street reported seeing a small child in pajamas walking along the street with no adults around. Another resident found the boy in her yard. The boy was transported to the police station. Police knocked on doors in the subdivision attempting to find the parents. The mother was found and said the child had learned to open doors and she had fallen asleep. The incident was reported to the Department of Human Services.

Thursday, June 14

3:53 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Judy Ann Kemp, 35, Pea Ridge, on a Washington County warrant.

1:43 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic for an animal at large call involving a resident of Pace Lane who had found a dog, a young black and white male beagle mix. The dog was placed in the clinic.

7:08 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on East Watie Street for a disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Daniel Ray Ford, 41, Pea Ridge, in connection with third-degree domestic battery and a warrant from Pea Ridge for failure to pay fines and costs.

Friday, June 15

8:31 a.m. A resident of Charles Street reported a stray dog on her porch. The dog did have a microchip. It was transported by the Street Department to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. At 11:40 a.m., Tammy Watkins, 42, Pea Ridge, claimed the dog. She told police the dog must have left through the electric fence around her back yard. She was cited in connection with dog at large.

Sunday, June 17

11:55 a.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic for a resident of Garfield who left a brown male dachshund he said he found on Lee Town Road at Greer Street.
