Monday, May 28

4:40 p.m. Police were dispatched to Walmart Neighborhood Market for a report of shoplifting. A criminal trespass warning was issued to the owner of the vehicle that was used in the shoplifting; attempts were made to contact the suspect.

10:24 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Halleck Lane in reference to a disturbance involving gunshots. A women said she was trying to move out and a man pulled a gun on her and shot at her feet. As a result of the investigation, police said there was no evidence to make an arrest.

Tuesday, May 29

2:07 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Gary Euel Cannady, 50, Bentonville, in connection with warrants from Elm Springs, Lowell, Siloam Springs and Bentonville. He was cited for driver's license suspended and no proof of insurance.

1:42 p.m. Police were dispatched to a motor-vehicle accident on Slack Street involving vehicles driven by Gladys Baker, 82, Pea Ridge; Kendra Rickard, 52, Rogers; and Bobby Joe Hamilton, 39, Garfield.

Wednesday, May 30

11:06 a.m. During an investigation, police arrested Joshua E. Courtney, 35, Pea Ridge, in connection with felony possession of controlled substance Sch. I; possession of controlled substance Sch. IV; felony possession drug paraphernalia; felony tampering with physical evidence; and on a white warrant from a parole officer; and Tiffany Kenra Jones, 26, Seligman, Mo., in connection with felony possession substance Sch. I; possession controlled substance Sch. IV; felony possession drug paraphernalia; felony tampering with physical evidence; Benton County felony dangerous drugs FTA warrant; Rogers failure to appear warrant and Elm Springs failure to appear warrant.

4:44 p.m. An employee from Castle Rental and Pawn reported theft in connection with items rented/leased, not payed for and not returned. A misdemeanor warrant was to be created for arrest of the suspect.

9:10 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McCulloch Street for a verbal disturbance that also involved a back glass being broken in a vehicle. There were no arrests.

Thursday, May 31

10:40 a.m. As a result of receiving a BOLO (Be on the lookout for) for a grey four-door Mercedes that fled from a Rogers Police officer on a traffic stop and was headed north, police watched the intersection of Curtis Avenue and Sugar Creek Road. The vehicle passed by and police conducted a traffic stop. As a result of the stop, police arrested Chris T. Her, 46, Kansas City, Kan., in connection with a warrant from Tontitown, parole violation and driving on a suspended driver's license. He was taken to the Benton County Jail.

3:32 p.m. Police were requested to assist Benton County Sheriff's deputies at a residence on Kay Lynn Drive in serving warrants and locating narcotics. As a result of the investigation, police booked Tammy King, 33, Pineville, Mo., on a felony warrant; Tiffany Mane Robertson, 25, no address, felony possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of drug paraphernalia; Marcella A. Phillips, 46, Pea Ridge, failure to pay fines and costs; and Christopher B. Speakman, 57, Pea Ridge, warrant for failure to pay fines and costs.

Friday, June 1

7:11 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on McCulloch Street for a disturbance. According to the police report, the altercation was mutual and no charges were filed.

9:12 p.m. A residence of Farrell Street reported a dog at large. The dog was impounded in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Saturday, June 2

8:07 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for a theft report involving a bicycle taken from the front yard.

10:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Courtney N. Barnum, 32, Pea Ridge, in connection with driving on a suspended driver's license pursuant to DWI; he, her "young son" and vehicle were released to a licensed driver.

Sunday, June 3

4:36 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Wade Lane for a disturbance. Police found no cause for arrest as a result of the investigation.

8:05 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Daniel Cates, 30, Bella Vista, in connection with driving on a suspended; no proof of insurance, failure to register and fictitious tags.

11 a.m. A resident of Gann Ridge Road, Garfield, reported harassing communications from a male who now resides in another state. The complainant reported she was going to seek a restraining order.

Monday, June 4

7:48 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lee Street in reference to three stray dogs that are not aggressive. A city worker transported the dogs to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Wednesday, June 6

12:05 p.m. An officer from probation and parole contacted a Pea Ridge police officer for a home visit. As a result of the contact, police cited Joshua Connors, 30, Pea Ridge, in connection with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

5:03 p.m. Police were contacted by an employee of the Pea Ridge Post Office for a suspicious circumstance involve six Arkansas driver's licenses, two Arkansas identification cards and two Missouri driver's licenses found in the outside blue mailbox.

Thursday, June 7

6:57 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lynn Drive for a criminal trespass in progress. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Matthew Blake Hutchins, 20, Bentonville, in connection with robbery, breaking or entering and theft of property and on warrants out of Bella Vista and Bentonville.

8:10 a.m. Police were dispatched to the area of Slack and Crawford streets for a women who reported she was driving east on Slack Street when a rock hit her windshield and cracked it.

2:26 p.m. Police were notified by dispatch that a person was missing from a residence on Asboth Street. The missing person is a 47-year-old male.

Friday, June 8

12:04 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Walmart Neighborhood Market for a private property motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle that hit the side of the store. As a result of the investigation, police cited the driver, Lois W. Caston, 83, Pea Ridge, in connection with no or expired driver's license; no proof of insurance; criminal mischief and obstructing government operations. In addition, the passenger, Evan D. Caston, 27, Pea Ridge, who left the scene, was arrested for warrants from several agencies later that evening.

7:21 p.m. Police were dispatched to a parking lot of a business for a dog in a hot vehicle for at least 20 minutes. Police took the dog out of the hot car and provided water and air conditioning while waiting for the owners of the vehicle. Police said 28 minutes after initial call, the people returned. Police cited Matthew Easter, 22, Pea Ridge, in connection with cruelty to animals.

Sunday, June 10

3:59 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Dodge Street for a vehicle fire that apparently started from an overheated cell phone plugged in to charge

6:27 p.m. Police were requested to assist Little Flock Police on a traffic stop on North Arkansas Highway 94 at Airport Loop Road and to allow Savannah Spillman, 31, Pea Ridge, to be placed in the back of the Pea Ridge unit as the Little Flock unit was a K9 unit. After completing an inventory on Spillman's vehicle, Little Flock Police transported Spillman to the Benton County Jail. Pea Ridge Police discovered a "small zip-lock type baggie" with what was suspected to be methamphetamine in it. Little Flock Police were notified and retrieved the baggie which tested positive for methamphetamine.
