Terry Bleich

Terry Bleich, 54, of Bentonville, Ark., died on Friday, June 1, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice after losing her battle to cancer. She was born March 31, 1964, in Baxter, Mo., to Bill and Judy Boyce.

She was a loan officer at Iberia Mortgage in Bentonville, Ark. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her garden, and traveling with her husband of 25 years. She loved watching baseball and was able to visit more than eight Major League Baseball parks.

Survivors include her husband, George Bleich of Bentonville; two children, Fallon Zschiegner-Bleich of Bentonville and Cody Bleich, and his wife, Tess of Fayetteville; grandson, Finnley Bleich; granddaughter, Ellie Bleich (due Aug. 1); her parents, Bill and Judy Boyce of Bella Vista; her sister, Tracy DeLeon, and her husband, Juan, of Pea Ridge; and one nephew, Nick DeLeon of Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 5, in Bella Vista Funeral Home.

Curtis Walton Conner

Curtis Walton Conner, 91, of Avoca, died May 27, 2018. He was born on Nov. 3, 1926, in Logan, W. Va., to Clarence and Beatrice Conner.

He was an Army veteran of World War II, where he was stationed in the Philippines. After an honorable discharge, he worked as a nurse until retiring in 1973.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, and by his wife, Shirley.

Survivors include his son, Roger; granddaughters, April, Amber, Heather and Kimberly; and many great-grandchildren.

A funeral service with military honors will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, in Fayetteville National Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his wife.

Barbara Corter

Barbara Corter, 63, of Bethel Heights, Ark., died Thursday, May 24, 2018 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born on June 6, 1954, in Atoka, Okla., to Hollis Franklin Adams and Jimmie Lee (Keeler) Adams.

She married Jimmy "Jim" Corter on Jan. 7, 1972, in Springdale, Ark.

She retired as an office manager with State Farm and was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Bethel Heights. She enjoyed arts and crafts and was very talented at creating silk flower arrangements. Her joy was spending time with her family and grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jerry Adams; and one sister, Mary Hood.

Survivors are her loving husband of 46 years, Jim Corter of the home; two children, Amy Warren and husband Joe, and Dennis Corter and wife Chanda, all of Rogers, Ark; two grandsons, Zack Warren and Derek Warren, both of Rogers, Ark; two grand dogs, Bo and Bentley; two sisters, Virginia Finch and husband Paul and Sharon Wilp, all of Atoka, Okla.: one sister in-law, Sue Adams of Pea Ridge, Ark.; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Bethel Heights.

Funeral was at 12 p.m. with pastor Bobby Main to officiate the service.

Committal was in Zion Cemetery in Springdale, Ark.

Elsie Grace David

Elsie Grace David, 99, of Pea Ridge, died June 2 in Bentonville. She was born June 17, 1918, in Eureka Springs to Daniel Frederick Glocksien and Sarah Eveline Scates Glocksien.

She retired from Emerson Electric after 11 years and was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delbert Willard David in 1976; a son, Larry David; two brothers, Andrew and Dan Glocksien; seven sisters, Mary Stroud, Augusta Birchfield, Clara Cole, Vada Callaway, Gladys Birchfield, Lydia Hinds and Hazel Crellin.

Survivors are three sons, Gary David and wife Barbara, Darrell David and wife Janet and Jerry David and wife Angie, all of Pea Ridge; 11 grandchilden; 20 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Sisco Funeral Home, Pea Ridge.

Service is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Westside Baptist Church in Pea Ridge.

Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.

Burial was in Ruddick Cemetery.

Janet Darlene Schnider

Janet Darlene Schnider, 74, of Garfield, Ark., died Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at home. She was born March 17, 1944, in Walla Walla, Wash., to Lloyd and Mavis Kimmell Merscham.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed working in her yard and nurturing her beautiful flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lloyd Guy Merscham, Jr. and Gary Wayne Merscham; brother-in-law, Gary Dryden; and sister-in-law, Mary Merscham.

Survivors are her husband of 55 years, Richard Schnider; two daughters, Tammy Hubbart and husband, Tony of Augusta, Kan., and Tawny Sandifer and husband, Bob of Pittsburg, Kan.; five grandchildren, Brady and fiancé Haleigh, Brittni, Braxton, Grant and Logan; one great-grandson, Ryker; one brother, Clay Merscham and wife, Margerita; and three sisters, Judy Dryden, Cheri Gartin and husband, John, and Rosalyn Liggatt and husband, Larry.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018, in Girard Cemetery, Girard, Kan.

Caleb Samuel Shaner

Caleb Samuel Shaner (JIB), 35, of Washburn, Mo., died May 31, 2018, in Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark., surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on June 15, 1982, in Springdale, Ark., to Marianne Morsani Henry and Bruce Wayne Shaner.

Caleb lived each day of his life to the fullest. A talented musician, proficient with several instruments, it was through his love of music, a witty sense of humor and a generosity of heart, that he had an uncanny ability to touch the lives of so many and develop friendships that quickly strengthened to an extended family. His passion for life and love of his daughter carried him through day to day and brought happiness to all those who were blessed to be a part of his life. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Wayne Shaner.

Survivors include his daughter, Destiny Shaner; his mother, Marianne Morsani Henry; his stepfather, Bryan Henry; his brothers, James Masner, Matthew Shaner, Cobey Henry and Corey Henry; and his sister, Candice Brattin.

The family thanks all his family and friends for their prayers and support during his illness.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 4, in the First Baptist Church in Pea Ridge, Ark., with pastor Al Fowler officiating.

Arrangements were by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
