Meet the Street Department crew

Nathan See, superintendent of the Pea Ridge Streets and Park Department, has worked for the city since 2013.

The most memorable event for him was the ice storm of 2009 which was his first declared disaster to work.

See says he likes being able to help when and where he can.

He enjoys camping, spending quality time with family and friends and dirt track racing.

He is a member of The Ridge Community College.

He and his wife, Nikki, have been married for 14 years and have a son, Malachi, 8, and two daughters, Hannah, 10, and Addison, 4.

Tom Sheets, mechanic/fabricator, has been with the Street Department since 2008.

He likes being able to serve his community and know that he makes a difference.

The ice storm of 2009 was the most memorable event for Sheets who said he worked non-stop for 34 hours to make sure the residents of Pea Ridge were safe.

He enjoys ham radio and small engine repair.

He and his wife, Julie, have three children and three grandchildren.

Josh Litchfield, "Jack of all trades," does grounds, building maintenance, service, repair equipment and auto mechanic for the Street Department. He was hired in 2015.

He said being able to make improvements is what he likes best about his job, citing two specific incidents -- the city park bathroom and basketball court. "I enjoy doing stuff like that," he said. "We are constantly making improvements that a lot of people don't notice. And I love the guys I work with. I consider them all friends."

The disaster when everything was flooded is the most memorable event for him, he said there was a lot of debris and trash to clean up.

He enjoys restoring old cars, rebuilding motors, working on RVs and doing home repairs. He said basically he loves working with his hands.

He is a single dad with "four awesome" children -- Bailey, Joshua, Zoey and Ruby.

Dustin Phy, street foreman, has been employed by the city since April 2018. His hobbies include fishing,

Aaron Clark, equipment operator, has been employed with the city since May 2018.

He and his wife, Candace Clark, have a son, Austin Clark, 4.

His hobbies include Go Kart racing and dirt track racing,

Klay Garner, equipment operator, employed since, 2015,

He's married to Hanna.

Hobbies are playing guitar, sportsman, and four-wheeling.

Brett Scott is part-time ground maintenance and has worked for the city since June 2018.

Scott's family includes his parents, James and Robyn, a brother, Cameron, and sister, Emily.

He enjoys working out at the gym and playing video games.
