Edward O. Barnard

Edward O. Barnard, 79, Rogers, died June 28, 2018. He was born on Sept. 17, 1938, in Boxley Valley, Ark., to Corby and Leota Barnard.

He was an Army veteran who served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of Pea Ridge Free Will Baptist Church. Mr. Barnard worked in appliance maintenance before beginning a career with Glad Products, where he retired after 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and by siblings, Laveda Simmons, Hazel Murphy, and Ford, Dolan, Junior, and J.W. Barnard.

Survivors include his wife, Alta; children, Tim Barnard and wife Angela of Rogers, Wendy Jones and husband Mike of Rogers; grandchildren, Emily Audlehelm, Corby Shumate, Kaden Barnard, Healing Reyne Barnard and Zadok Barnard; great-grandchildren, Will Audlehelm and Easton Shumate; and brothers, Gene and Reese Barnard.

Visitation was 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1, in Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Funeral services were at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, in Rollins Funeral Home.

Graveside services were at 11 a.m. on Monday in Shiloh Cemetery in Newton County, Ark.

Guy Graham

Guy 'Jew Boy' Graham, 87, died June 28, 2018. He was born to Ernest & Cleava Graham in Avoca, Ark., on March 19, 1931.

He drove before he started walking, hauling "taters" from coast to coast. All those miles provided for his family and earned him a reputation as a man who "never missed a trip."

He was preceded in death by his daddy; his mama; brothers; sisters; and his co-captain, Billie Lowe.

Survivors are his two boys, Darrin and Scott; his "step" daughter Linda Dean; his girl, Ashley; granddaughters, Paige and Lexi; two great-grandchildren; and his care-giver, Pam, who became his best friend.

Visitation was 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1, in Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Tucks Chapel Cemetery.

Shelby Wayne Hubbard Jr.

Shelby Wayne Hubbard Jr., 17, of Pea Ridge, Ark., died June 23, 2018, in Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. He was born Nov. 6, 2000, in Siloam Springs, Ark., to Shelby "Dusty" Wayne Hubbard and Lorie Ann McMillan Hubbard.

He was a student at Pea Ridge High School and the Cherokee Nation. He loved video games, target practice with his bow and shotgun, watching movies and his cat "Millie."

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Charles Hubbard.

Survivors are his parents of the home; paternal grandmother, Cindy Hingle of Bella Vista, Ark.; maternal grandparents, Roy and Mary McMillan of Gentry, Ark.

A memorial service is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, July 7, at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge with Pastor Jody Hingle officiating.

Deborah Jo (Inda) Lipscomb

Dr. Deborah Lipscomb, 66, of Tahlequah, Okla., died June 27, 2018. She was born to Belva Lee Roberson and Thomas Joseph Inda on Sept. 26, 1951, in Bartlesville, Okla.

Lipscomb, retired BCM director at NSU, earned a BS in political science from UCO, a master's in divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological seminary and her doctorate in ministry. She is also a NSU Centurion. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Tahlequah where she served along with her brother and sisters in Christ. She was an active member of the Blue Star Moms.

She loved cooking for the masses, going on mission trips, loving on her family and college students and going to all of her grandchildren's activities. She leaves a legacy of a strong Christian faith, servanthood and a love of all people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Inda and Belva Hively; her sister, Lorri Lynch; and Micah Brandon Lipscomb Jr. and other glory babies.

Survivors are her husband of 44 years, Bobby Lipscomb of the home; one daughter, Bobbye Jo Dye and her husband John Dye of Pea Ridge, Ark.; sons, Micah Lipscomb and Julia Lipscomb of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Capt. Caseylee Lipscomb of Warner Robbins, Ga.; bonus daughter, Fonda Martin of Kansas City, Mo.; her sister, Melodie Alleman and husband David of Bartlesville, Okla.; eight grandchildren, Alexys, Kamree, McKyah, Bryar, Jace, Channing, Gannon, Lathan; a bonus grandson, Benji; ; one great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends and spiritual BCM children.

Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday June 29, 2018, in the Dewey City Cemetery in Dewey, Okla., officiated by the Rev. Al Fowler.

Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, in the First Baptist Church in Tahlequah with Pastor Buddy Hunt officiating.

Final arrangements were under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family has begun a fund to build a house in Haiti in her memory, for a family in need. Haiti is where she took her last mission trip and her family continue to go there to serve. Donations can be sent to FBC Pea Ridge, P.O. Box 46, Pea Ridge, AR 72751, marked Haiti house.
