8:20 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Mark Dennis Law, 20, Pea Ridge, imprudent driving, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Sch. VI

8:43 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Freddie Alexander, 38, Gravette, warrant from Benton County and driving on suspended driver's license and no proof of insurance

Wednesday, Dec. 13

9:40 a.m. Police were dispatched to East Sugar Creek Road for a two-vehicle accident involving vehicles drive by Christopher Brown and Francisco Valdez. There were no injuries reported.

6:22 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Joshua A. Lee, 30, Pea Ridge, for no headlights, possession of Sch. VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:36 p.m. A resident of Weston Loop reported that a package that had been delivered was missing.

Monday, Dec. 18

6:30 a.m. Police were notified of a vehicle parked in the roadway near Cardin Road and Pace Lane. As a result of the investigation, police towed a 2000 gold-colored Honda Accord; it was impounded.

3:54 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Pickens Road in front of the high school for a two-vehicle accident involving a 16-year-old female driver hitting a vehicle stopped at the cross walk. She was cited for imprudent driving.

6:49 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on South Harvey Wakefield for a breaking or entering not in progress. The complainant said items were stolen from her purse including credit and debit cards.

Thursday, Dec. 21

10:17 a.m. A resident of Zachary Street reported an unattended death.

1:21 p.m. A resident of Lee Town Drive reported a dog running loose in the area. Police asked the complainant to transport the dog to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. The dog's owner, Melisa Wilson, age and address not listed, claimed the dog and was then cited for dog at large.

9:31 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Austin Gabriel Stricland Viastuin, 25, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substance and Ryan Lawson, 20, Rogers, for driving on a suspended license (not DWI), no proof of insurance and no seat belt. Marijuana was seized photographed and submitted for evidence.

Friday, Dec. 22

1:25 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lyon Street for a report of a criminal trespass. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Curtis Lee Wyatt, 26, Pea Ridge, on a warrant from Pea Ridge and possession of a controlled substance, fictitious tags, driving on a suspended driver's license.

Monday, Dec. 25

1:37 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Francisco Huitzilopostly Huiz-Renteria, 34, Lowell, for DWI, refusal to submit to chemical test, two counts third-degree endangering the welfare of a minor; drove left of center; speeding; failure to stop at stop sign; no driver's license and no proof of insurance.

Tuesday, Dec. 26

12:23 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Chapman Lane for a runaway juvenile, a 17-year-old male.

5:36 p.m. A resident of Patterson Road reported that his dog was attached by two pit bulls and his dog was being treated by a veterinarian. He said the dogs were still loose in his front yard. The complainant said he didn't want to press charges, but did want the owner of the dogs responsible for the bill. On Dec. 31, police cited Will Bettis, 25, Pea Ridge, for two counts of animal at large.

Friday, Dec. 29

11:43 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of It'll Do and Hazelton roads for a report of a motor-vehicle crash involving a black Nissan Titan which had gone through a fence and no driver was in sight. The vehicle was found on Hazelton Road in a field and the driver was not present. As a result of the investigation, police cited Paul Hignite, 34, Pea Ridge, for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Tuesday, Jan. 2

3:40 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of John Montgomery Circle for a stray dog. A city employee was called to transport the dog to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Wednesday, Jan. 3

4:11 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Pea Ridge Post Office for a private property accident without injury involving vehicles driven by James Duncan, 70, Washburn, Mo., and Brenda Winn, 64, Pea Ridge.

Thursday, Jan. 4

3:39 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Gene Ross Bateman, 35, Pineville, Mo., for violating an order of protection driving on a suspended license, a Pea Ridge warrant for ... and a Centerton warrant.

Saturday, Jan. 6

12:28 a.m. A resident of Bowen Street reported a dog found wandering in the area that he had secured in his yard. At the request of police, the resident agreed to transport the dog to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. At 10:20 a.m., the dog's owner, Levi Staten, claimed the dog. Staten, 41, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large.

9:22 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Darlene Gina Mendez, 30, Bentonville, on a Rogers warrant for failure to pay fines and costs.
