5 p.m. Police received a report of shoplifting from an employee at the Walmart Neighborhood Market.

Sunday, Feb. 11

5:30 p.m. Police were requested to assist an Arkansas State Police trooper at a traffic stop at the intersection of Butler Boulevard and Daniel Lane with a vehicle with six occupants. As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old female was charged with possession of a controlled substance. She was released to her mother. The other juvenile passengers, females, ages 15 and 14, and two 17-year-old males were released to their parents.

9:42 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Daniel Ray Hutchek, 37, Pea Ridge, cited with possession of meth or cocaine purpose to deliver; possession of drug paraphernalia; fictitious tags; no proof of insurance; driving on suspended license; failure to register VL; warrant arrest; and general assist/warrant arrest for other agency. Items seized included 2.2 grams of methamphetamine and more than $1,100 in cash.

Monday, Feb. 12

7:50 a.m. Krystie Day Parmenter, 19, of Bella Vista reported a private property accident when a truck driven by a 16-year-old male hit her vehicle in the driveway to the parking lot at the high school.

8 a.m. Police were dispatched to the intersection of Slack Street and Dove road for a two-vehicle accident involving a vehicle driven by Johnathan M. Swadley, 19, Bentonville, and a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old female. Swadley told police he was stopped turning left onto It'll Do Road from Slack Street when he was hit from behind. The juvenile was given a citation for careless and prohibited driving.

8:15 a.m. A resident of Eagle Drive dropped off a dog at the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. She said she found the small terrier-mix dog in the area of Eagle Drive and It'll Do Road.

10:40 a.m. A resident of Garfield reported a trailer and Kubota skid loader stolen from a residence on Weston Street.

Tuesday, Feb. 13

7:45 a.m. Police received a breaking and entering report from a resident of Hazelton Road involving empty bank bags and an Academy bag missing from an unlocked vehicle.

4:30 p.m. A city employee reported a long-haired daschund running loose on North Curtis Avenue. A Street Department employee transported the dog to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. On Wednesday, Feb. 14, Jeffrey Sanders claimed the dog and was cited for dog at large.

4 p.m. Police took a delayed accident report of an accident that reportedly happened on Feb. 11 involving a vehicle driven and parked by Rebecca Longing, 46, Pea Ridge. Longing told police she parked at a residence on Frost Street and noticed damage to the driver's door of her vehicle when she returned to it.

4:45 p.m. As a result of an investigation, police cited Ronald Shelton, 36, Pea Ridge, for too many animals.

Wednesday, Feb. 14

8 a.m. Police were notified that three juvenile female students were smoking marijuana in the girls bathroom located in the gym lobby of the high school. As a result of the investigation, police cited three 14-year-old femaes with intae appointments to the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center and juvenile court dates in connection with possession of Sch. VI and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, Feb. 15

10:20 a.m. A school official reported items stolen from a classroom. As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old male was arrested at his home and released to the custody of his mother.

1:56 p.m. A city employee delivered a female German short-haired dog to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. There was no further information.

Friday, Feb. 16

8:10 a.m. Police were given a black plastic canister containing a plastic baggie with a burnt marijuana blunt found above the ceiling in the boys bathroom at Pea Ridge High School.

10 a.m. At the request of a property owner, police towed an abandoned vehicle off Weston Loop.

Saturday, Feb. 17

1 p.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported a domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Travis Lee Tripodi, 27, Pea Ridge, in connection with third degree domestic battery and third degree endangering the welfare of a minor.

1:30 p.m. As a result of a report from a resident of Seligman, Mo., police issued a criminal trespass warning for a residence on Asboth Street to Mark Morgan, 55, Pea Ridge.
