Wednesday, Aug. 1

9:30 a.m. A resident of Pea Ridge turned in a wallet he found in the middle of North Curtis Avenue containing two identification cards. The wallet was returned to the owner.

9:41 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police issued arrested Zachary Todd Pund, 27, Pea Ridge, in connection with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thursday, Aug. 2

7:21 a.m. A resident of Harper Cove reported his vehicle broken into. Police received information that five other vehicles in the area were also broken into. They were three vehicles at residences on Turner Way and two on Harper Cove. Police were also provided video surveillance showing two males "rummaging inside and outside" one of the vehicles. Items missing included a sub woofer, speakers, a couple of knives and medication. The vehicle was also damaged from the driver side door being "jimmied," according to the police report. Probable cause was developed for a warrant for Anthony Hall, 18, Pea Ridge, who was arrested and "criminally" charged with felony breaking and entering and theft of property.

3:39 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested the driver, Brandon Malachi Mahoney, 20, Rogers, on two failure to appear warrants out of Bentonville and a suspended driver's license; Tyler Ray Sandecki, 25, Springdale, on a valid warrant out of Arizona for absconding; and Christian Alvarez, 18, no address given, on a valid warrant out of Bentonville for failure to appear. After finding evidence in the truck, police also charged Mahoney in connection with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, Aug. 3

11:04 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on O.D. Bancroft for a fraud report involving buying an item on Craigslist.

7:08 p.m. Police were notified of a dog locked in a vehicle in the parking lot of a business. The windows were closed. The vehicle was locked. The dog was "panting heavily," according to the report. As a result of the investigation, police issued a citation to John F. Allard, 60, Rogers, in connection with cruelty to animals, general neglect, abandonment, mistreatment. After checking surveillance video, it was determined the dog had been in the car for about 20 minutes.

Saturday, Aug. 4

3 p.m. A resident of Hutchinson Street reported criminal mischief involving someone scratching profanities on her vehicle.

5:29 p.m. A resident of St.Clair Street reported finding a stray puppy. The complainant took the pup to the Pea Ridge Vet clinic. On Monday, Aug. 6, Yesenia Guzman claimed the dog and was issued a citation in connection with animal at large.

Sunday, Aug. 5

9:57 a.m. Police were dispatched to a civil call at a residence on McNair Place. A resident of Bella Vista reported he and his daughter arrived to pick up her daughter as provided in court-ordered visitation schedule and the child's father was refusing to allow them to take the child. As a result of the investigation, police issued a citation for interference with visitation to Robert R. Taylor, 26, Pea Ridge.

9:58 a.m. Police received a call about a barking dog on WMB Franklin Court, then the caller reported the dog was running loose. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Samuel Gonzales, 31, Pea Ridge, in connection with DWI.

8:25 p.m. A resident of South Curtis Avenue reported theft of a tire.

Monday, Aug. 6

11:45 a.m. A resident of Hayden Road reported a bicycle stolen from their front porch. It is a man's Mongoose mountain bike.

7:12 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Cardin Road for an animal at large call involving a male Daschund found wandering in the area. It was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. On Aug. 8, Lisa Dingman claimed the dog. Dingman, no age given, of Fayetteville, was issued a citation in connection with dog at large.

Tuesday, Aug. 7

3:39 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Kenneth C. Williams, 63, Pea Ridge, in connection with possession of meth or cocaine; possession of Sch. VI; possession of drug paraphernalia; no proof of insurance; no headlights.

Wednesday, Aug. 8

2:06 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Abrahan Velasco, 19, Rogers, in connection with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, and Taylor E. Bui, 20, Springdale, in connection with possession of a controlled substance.

2:58 p.m. Police were dispatched to Arvest Bank for a possible fraud report involving a resident of St. Clair Street. The victim is out more than $39,000. Police have been in contact with a postal inspector to see whether the incident can be followed on a federal level.

5:13 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jacob Shane Uber, 27, Rogers, on a warrant from Lowell. He was released to the custody of Lowell Police.

Thursday, Aug. 9

10:15 p.m. Police issued a citation in connection with curfew violation to a 15-year-old male.

Friday, Aug. 10

8:18 a.m. Police were dispatched to EZ Mart in reference to found money. Police secured the cash.

7:57 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on South Davis Street for an unattended death.

Saturday, Aug. 11

2:07 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Sarah A. Barker, 33, Washburn, Mo., on a Rogers warrant and met Rogers Police for her to be given a citation. Pea Ridge Police issued her a citation in connection with driving on a suspended license and no proof of insurance.

7:45 p.m. Police were advised of a dog at large at the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. A person was there reporting the dog had been found on Wade Lane.

10:46 p.m. Police were dispatched to a business on Lee Town Road for a possible juvenile runaway. A resident of Greer Street reported her 17-year-old daughter missing. The youth was found and police talked with the mother and daughter advising them to talk about things.
