Pea Ridge Intermediate School student Collin Little was a big winner at the 103rd annual Benton County Fair in Vaughan last week.

Little, 9, fourth grade, took home four first place ribbons in the Fine Arts Division (7- to 12- years-of-age division). He also claimed the "Best of Show" designation for his acrylic painting of a sunflower. He won additional blue ribbons for his charcoal drawing of a dog, an oil pastel drawing of a cat and a dry pastel drawing of an owl.

Little's younger brother, Henry, 4, won a blue ribbon and "Best of Show" designation in the 6 and younger division for his acrylic painting of a house.

Collin Little took home a grand total of $38 in prize money with his brother Henry earning $17. Collin earlier won first place this year in state competition with an oil pastel mockingbird. The county fair was Henry's first competition.

The boys are the children of Chris Little and the late Lora Little of Bella Vista, and are the grandsons of John and Debbie McGee of Bella Vista. McGee is a longtime art teacher in the Pea Ridge School District.
