Blackhawk fans attending sporting events will face new rules as school officials have enacted additional security measures.

"This isn't going to be restrictive although there is going to be some uncomfortableness," he said. "We're trying to keep people safe. We're trying to go with the collegiate model."
Ramey explained that there was a time when everybody knew everybody, but the town and school have grown making that less likely.
"The whole thing is safety related."
Ramey said a portion of the north-south driveway along the east side of the stadium (behind the guest bleachers) will be closed to automobile traffic during games. The security measures will be enacted at all sporting events.
"The big issue for is is limiting re-entry," Ramey said, explaining that if someone leaves the event -- stadium or gym -- they will be charged full price for re-entry.
Ramey said the conference has changed and prices have changed to reflect that. Tickets are $5 for adults and students, kindergarten to 12th grade.
"It will be the same prices at all schools."
Season and senior passes are available at the school from Cheryl Tillman and Brenda Fuller, Ramey said.
"We want to make the events fun. We want to make them exciting for students, fans, athletes and make the event as secure as we can," he said.
Ramey said he and other school officials have been in discussion with other schools' officials, as well.
"We've been the leader. It's the way the world has gone. We want to be on the forefront," he said, adding that when the Blackhawks go to Maumelle, they'll see that fans enter through metal detectors.
Ramey said gates at the football stadium will open at 5 p.m.
