Stitched With Love
Stitched With Love had its monthly meeting on July 17, 2018. They had a working meeting cutting batting for quilt kits for members to take home and sew. There were 12 members in attendance and three visitors. One of the visitors had seen the ad in the Northwest Morning News.
After cutting the batting, there was a short meeting while all enjoyed refreshments.
Thanks to all of the members who returned quilts and pillows. Linda Pitts made the third shipment to Arkansas Children's Hospital. The volunteers at ACH Springdale were happy to assist her in unloading the quilts and pillows and get them on their way to Little Rock to the critically ill children.
Several individuals are continuing to make hats for the children but we have asked them to hold their supply until September, as requested by the hospital.
All persons who are sewers or quilters are welcome to come, check us out, and meet some very special ladies.
The next meeting will be at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 21, 2018, in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St., Pea Ridge, Ark.
