Pea Ridge Blackhawk cyclists finished sixth overall in the first cycling race of the season at Sager Creek in Siloam Springs earlier this month.

The 11 student riders were among over 200 students from across northwest Arkansas, the River Valley and central Arkansas to complete the first race of the season at Sager Creek in Siloam Springs. The Blackhawk cyclists fared very well with several top 10 finishes and the team finished sixth overall (just missed fifth place by 100 points).

The season is progressing well. The team was slated to race Sept. 24, at Old Post in Russellville.

To see race action first hand, mark your calendars for Saturday, Oct. 7, as Pea Ridge Blackhawk cyclists will be racing in Bentonville.
