Costume contest planned at library

Hello, Pea Ridge friends.

Happy October! It's a very exciting month here at the library. Most importantly on Oct. 31, we will have a Halloween costume contest. Dress up at your favorite book character. Please come to the library at 4:30 p.m.and we will have judges at 4:45 p.m. pick the best ones out of five categories: 4 and younger, 5 to 10 years old, 11 to 17 years old and family.

Monday-Friday: 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Every Wednesday we have a wonderful story time that we are now calling Mrs. Carrie's Toddler Storytime.

Other meetings are:

• Lego Club, 1:30-5 p.m. Oct. 9;

• Open Color, all day, Oct. 11;

• Minecraft selfies, 4 p.m. Oct. 13;

• Origami Club, 4 p.m. Oct. 19;

• Homeschool Art Class, 9:30 a.m. Oct. 20;

• Saturday Scientist, noon Oct. 21;

• Pumpkin painting, 4 p.m. Oct. 24;

• Free yoga, 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25;

• Straw weaving, 11 a.m. Oct. 30.

The library is taking applications for anyone outgoing individuals who would like to work part-time in a wonderful atmosphere.

The Friends of the Pea Ridge Library will have their meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 10 in the library. This meeting is open to the public and is a fantastic opportunity for any passionate volunteers to be a part of.
