Florence Louise Morrison Poe

Florence Louise Morrison Poe, 85, of Centerton, Ark., died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Northwest Regional Hospital in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Nov. 7, 1932, in Garfield, Ark., to Fred and Arlene (Marler) Morrison.

She grew up and received her education at Garfield, Ark., where she graduated from high school and attended two years of college. She was a homemaker and was a member of Boundless Grace Baptist Church in Little Flock, Ark.

On Jan. 7, 1949, she was united in marriage to Zannie Poe, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2016. Also preceding her in death were eight brothers.

Survivors are five children, Sheila Chandler of Centerton, Ark., Perry D. Poe and his wife Linda of Georgia, Daniel N. Poe of Garfield, Ark., Phillip A. Poe and his wife Jane of Bella Vista, Ark., and Wendy J. Poe of Rogers, Ark.; one brother, Zannie Morrison and his wife Susie of Florida; 13 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield, Ark., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo., with pastor Josh Ramsey officiating.
