Many activities planned for summer

This year's annual Summer Reading Program Kickoff party is going to be HUGE, ladies and gentlemen! Admission is free to all, and all are welcome! There will be free food and drinks, a disc jockey, face painting, a dunk tank, police and fire trunks, a bouncy house and so much more. Registration for the Summer Reading Program is open for grades kindergarten through eighth.We ask that all of those who can please bring a new or very gently used book donate to the Back to School Bash. Spread the word!

• June 5 -- Lego Club and sixth-grade Book Club

• June 6 -- Adult coloring and seveth- and eighth-grade Book Club

• June 7 -- Story and Craft Hour

• June 8 -- Adult Book Club

Additional new and returning events to look forward to this month are: Saturday Scientist, Table Toppers (board games and puzzles), Children's Drawing Class, Adult Pottery and Edible Architecture.

Calling all young ladies sixth- through 12th-grade at 10 a.m. on Aug. 12. Senator Cecile Bledsoe is coming to speak at our Community Library. As you know Sen. Bledsoe is a Republican member of the Arkansas State Senate. She is an amazing woman with fantastic morals and standards. She will be speaking on "Being a Special type of leader -- a leader of Character." Please mark your calendars for this very special event.
