Coming again this summer

Book Bus takes books to readers

Special to The TIMES

This summer the Pea Ridge Book Bus is back and better than ever, according to coordinator Ashley Clark.

The bus contains a variety of books for all ages (kids and adults) and makes stops throughout Pea Ridge and outlying areas to deliver not only books, but popsicles and friendly faces as well. Routes will run from 9 a.m. to about noon each Tuesday throughout the summer months, starting June 6 and ending July 25.

At each stop, students will be able to check out books to read over the week. Students and parents can check out new books each week when they return the books from the previous week.

The route will begin at 9 a.m. going first to Jones Trailer Park Road then Todd Circle, Givens Place (at the park), Standing Oaks (at the pool), Summitt Meadows Estates and Windmill Estates. Then, about 11 a.m. the bus will park in Primary School parking lot.

Follow the adventure on Facebook (Pea Ridge Book Bus) and on Twitter @pearidgebookbus. Also, visit the website at www.pearidgebookbus.weebly.com for more information.
