Students prepared to advance

Big changes are coming to the second- and fifth-grade classes in the Pea Ridge School District as both classes will transition to new learning environments next year.

The second grade PLP (Personalized Learning Program) students visited the Intermediate school to test, explore and see which classes best suit their individual needs at the Intermediate. On May 2, all other second-grade students will be able to visit and become accustomed to their new school environment.

The fifth graders of Pea Ridge will begin to transition into Middle School this May, and the High School band directors, Kevin Hume and Matt McCool, will test students who are interested in band to see which instruments they are proficient in. The rest of the fifth grade is expected to visit the Middle School sometime in May.

With the addition of new Intermediate students, and Middle school students, the Pea Ridge School District will be bustling with lots of new learners.
