New Meadowbrook EH Club

The members of the New Meadowbrook Extension Homemaker's Club of Garfield met at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, for their regular monthly meeting. Karen Launderville, president, presided over the meeting. Terri Jarding had the devotions and read an item "Looking Ahead."

The minutes were read by secretary Ione Kauffeld and treasurer's report given by Roxie Geddie.

The project for the club for the present year is Spa Arkansas out of Springdale, Ark., and the members have been providing food for the volunteers and also items for the animals at the shelter.

There will be a county project held at the Rogers Wellness Center of "How to Talk to Your Doctor," from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 1. Officer's training is at the Extension Home Office at 9:30 a.m. May 31. The annual "Fun Day" will be held at Maysville at 10 a.m. June 29 and is a pot luck luncheon.

The meeting was closed with all members reciting the Extension Homemaker's Creed.
