Wednesday, April 26

1:30 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jason Smith, 32, Pea Ridge, on an Elm Springs warrant for contempt of court.

4:08 p.m. Police arrested Joshua R. Denmom, 32, Rogers, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for parking in a fire lane and driving on a suspended driver's license.

Thursday, April 27

7:40 a.m. Police received a report of a hit and run accident at the Intermediate School. As a result of the investigation, police cited Mary Lashenko, 56, Pea Ridge, for leaving the scene of an accident and careless and prohibited driving and issued her a no trespass warning for school property as she admitted to have been drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana before driving onto the school property. Police arrested Lester Dale Dover, 46, Pea Ridge, on warrants from Pea Ridge for third-degree battery, contempt failure to pay fines and costs and driving on a suspended, and failure to appear from Benton County.

10:28 p.m. A resident of Eagle Crest reported receiving threats. The incident is under investigation.

Friday, April 28

3:08 p.m. A resident of Winters Street reported theft of monitors from his front porch.

4 p.m. Police were notified that a 14-year-old male did not get off the school bus at his residence and was believed to have gone home with another student. The youth was found and returned to his caregiver.

Saturday, April 29

1:17 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Hallack Lane for a death investigation of a 55-year-old male.

6:37 p.m.A resident of Lee Town reported a burglary, that her front door was damaged from being kicked in and medication was missing.

9:01 p.m. While on patrol, police observed a vehicle with hazard lights flashing and a male without a shirt walking around in a field. As a result of the investigation, police cited Joshua Sean Martin, 32, Bentonville, for possession of a controlled substance and for careless/prohibited driving.

Monday, May 1

7:01 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Cody Allen Lewis, 30, Pea Ridge, for possession of drug paraphernalia and cited for speeding.

7:24 p.m. Police were notified of a "suspicious item" in the parking lot at Walmart Neighborhood Market. A clear baggie of methamphetamine was found and impounded.

Tuesday, May 2

7:01 a.m. Police were notified of a stray dog in the area of Holmes and Hopkins Lane. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

10:30 a.m. Police were notified of a private property accident involving vehicles driven by Breanna A. Varner, 23, Pea Ridge, and Robert Lynn Mahurin, 25, Garfield.

3:55 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Christopher Speakman, 18, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended license.

5:44 p.m. Police arrested Bryan P. Miller, 47, Little Rock, on a Pea Ridge warrant for failure to pay fines and costs and a Rogers warrant for contempt of court.

6:03 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police seized bags of coins and bills that were believed to be valuable and possibly stolen; they were placed in evidence.

6:28 p.m. A resident of Todd Circle reported a stray dog in the neighborhood. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

10:30 p.m. A resident of Bowen Street reported a stray dog. Police picked up an English bulldog and impounded the dog at the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Wednesday, May 3

1:19 a.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on D.J. Duvall for a disturbance involving a woman claiming her former husband had threatened to kill her. As a result of the investigation, police issued a BOLO (be on the lookout for) the suspect for third-degree domestic assault.

3:31 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Morgan Suzanne Contreras, 27, Garfield, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Rogers warrant.

4:55 p.m. A resident of Charles Street reported a stray dog in the area. It was picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

Thursday, May 4

3:04 p.m. A resident of Patton Street filed a complaint against her husband for spanking their 3-year-old child too hard. The incident will be forwarded to the city prosecutor.

Friday, May 5

4:40 p.m. Police received a report of theft from a resident of D.J. Duvall Drive involving bank accounts.

Saturday, May 6

10:30 a.m. Police took a report of a two-vehicle accident at Arkansas Highway 94 an Cardin Road involving vehicles driven by Bobby Joe Douhit, 64, Pea Ridge, and Rachel E. Rose, 32, Washburn, Mo.

4:02 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Christopher George Palmer, 43, Rogers, on a warrant for failure to appear from Rogers.

9:16 p.m. Police were dispatched to an animal at large call on Brook Circle. the dog was transported to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Sunday, May 7

12:12 a.m. While on regular patrol of Big Sugar Golf Course, police saw a vehicle next to the gas pump by the cart storage building. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Steven Anthony Stobaugh, 27, Pea Ridge, on a Benton County warrant for failure to appear. As a result of the investigation, a warrant for theft of property was sought for the theft of fuel.

12:20 a.m. Police received a report of a man threatening to kill himself. He was located and admitted he was distraught. He was advised to go to the hospital.

4:28 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on West Pickens Street in regards to a runaway juvenile who had removed her ankle monitor after running away from a residence in Fayetteville. The 16-year-old girl was picked up by her mother.
