Friday, July 7

2:13 p.m. Police were dispatched to a motor-vehicle accident involving a city vehicle at the intersection of Buck Drive and Buck Cove. According to the report, Klay Garner, 21, Pea Ridge, was operating a street sweeper on Buck Drive and began to reverse when the street sweeper hit (or was hit by) a north bound Nissan Rogue driven by Regina Gray, 29, Pea Ridge.

3:45 p.m. Police took a report of a breaking and entering, commercial burglary, theft and criminal mischief at a business on North Curtis Avenue. The incident is still under investigation.

Sunday, July 9

7:27 p.m. Police were dispatched to a parking lot on North Curtis Avenue for a verbal disturbance involving several juveniles and a bat thrown at a vehicle. The victim's parent did not want to press charges.

Tuesday, July 11

2:35 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested William A.E. Fields, 23, Pea Ridge, for driving on a suspended driver's license, no proof of insurance and improper use of vehicle license/evidence of registration. His vehicle was towed.

Wednesday, July 12

1:40 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Cody Watson, 21, Rocky Comfort, Mo., for driving on a suspended driver's license and speeding. He was booked into the Benton County Jail, then cited and released.

7:16 p.m. A resident of Mariano Road reported a dog running loose. The dog, a large breed border collie mix, was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Thursday, July 13

12:24 a.m. Police were asked to stand by for an employee being terminated for stealing a can of tuna fish from Autumn Place.

5:22 p.m. A resident of Crawford Street reported fraud involving a check from his bank account.

Friday July 14

11:41 a.m. An employee at a restaurant on East Pickens reported a dog found inside the restaurant. The dog was taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. The owner, Christopher Rust, 39, Pea Ridge, later claimed the dog and was cited for dog at large.

12:41 p.m. A resident of Van Dorn reported that two dogs approached her when she was at a residence on Henry Little Circle and that one barked at her and could be aggressive. The owner, a 17-year-old female, was located and cited for dogs at large.

8:40 p.m. A resident of Luke Street reported finding a stray dog. On Saturday, July 15, police were contacted by Marvella Woods, 58, Pea Ridge, about her lost dog which was the dog picked up the previous day. Woods was cited for dog at large.

Saturday, July 15

8:30 a.m. While on patrol on Leetown Road, police observed a small Boston Terrier at large in the roadway, picked it up and impounded it at the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

8:30 p.m. A resident of General Franz Sigel reported being harrassed by a woman with whom he has a no contact order.

Sunday, July 16

9:38 a.m. A resident on Zachary Street reported finding a dog that was running loose. It was placed in the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.
