Creamy Potato Casserole

2 (16 oz.) bags diced potatoes

12 oz. sour cream

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 c. melted butter

1/4 tsp. salt

1/4 tsp. pepper

2 c. corn flakes

1/4 c. melted butter

1/4 onion, chopped

In a large bowl, combine potatoes, onion, sour cream, soup, 1 cup melted butter, salt and pepper. Stir with a spoon until blended. Spoon into 13-inch by 9-inch casserole dish.

In a small bowl, mash the corn flakes, then stir in 1/4 cup melted butter. Spread corn flakes mixture over the potato mixture.

Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
