Arkansas Tech

RUSSELLVILLE -- Three students from northeast Benton County were among the 1,893 students at Arkansas Tech who were named to the Dean's list. One of those three was one of 714 students who achieved a 4.0 grade point average. A student must achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher and complete at least 12 hours of college-level coursework to be named to the Dean's List.

Centenary College

SHREVEPORT, La. -- Shannon Orlopp of Garfield was one of 191 Centenary students named to the Dean's List for Fall 2016. The honor list names all students who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in 12 or more semester hours taken for a letter grade during the fall semester.

Harding University

SEARCY -- Three Pea Ridge students were among the more than 1,400 students on the Harding University dean's list for grades achieved during the fall 2016 semester.

Courtney Mitchell, elementary education major; Emma Swadley, elementary education major; and Heather Couch, elementary education major, all from Pea Ridge were named to the Dean's List.

The dean's list is published each semester by Dr. Marty Spears, University provost, honoring those who have achieved high scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be carrying 12 or more hours with a 3.65 or higher grade-point average and no incompletes.
