1:37 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Zachary T. Hembry, 22, Bella Vista, for driving on a suspended license; no proof of insurance; transfers of title and registration; and interlock device restriction

Monday, Nov. 27

4:30 p.m. A resident of St. Clair Street reported financial identity fraud and theft involving cell phones purchased in her name but not by her. The incident was forwarded to CID for investigation.

7:01 p.m. Police received information that a juvenile escaped court-ordered Youth-bridge custody and was possibly with a friend at a residence on South Davis Street. As a result of the investigation, police cited Jason Bevill, 37, Pea Ridge, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The runaway juvenile was not located.

Tuesday, Nov. 28

10:08 a.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Shaun L. Beisley, 36, Bentonville, for driving on suspended license, no proof of insurance and warrants from Benton County and Elm Springs.

8:09 p.m. Police received a report from a resident of East Pickens Road financial identity fraud involving a text message saying she had been selected as a secret shopper and then a cashier's check received in the mail.

Wednesday, Nov. 29

5:47 a.m. A resident of Van Dorn Street reported being harmed by her former boyfriend. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Calvin Leon Klein, 24, Green Forest, for third-degree domestic assault.

6:23 p.m. Police received a complaint of a German shepherd running loose on Gorham Lane. The complainant was asked to transport the dog to Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. On Dec. 1, Patrick Cypert claimed the dog was his. Cypert, 24, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large and the dog was released to him after he paid the bill at the veterinary clinic. He was advised to get city tags for the dog.

6:26 p.m. Police received a report of a theft from the Walmart Neighborhood Market involving a couple going through the self-check-out and scanning only a portion of their items and later picking up and pocketing an item from the pharmacy area. The incident is under investigation.

7:55 p.m. Police were advised there were two large mastiff dogs running loose in traffic on Lee Town Road. The dogs were picked up and impounded at Pea Ridge Vet Clinic.

Thursday, Nov. 30

12:18 a.m. Police received a report of a vehicle that hit a deer on Lee Town Road just east of DeGraff Road.The driver, Tessa Montoya, 42, Rogers, reported that the deer hit the front of the vehicle and then ran off. Her vehicle was damaged but drive-able.

1 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Zachary L. Brown, 32, Pea Ridge, for possession of meth or cocaine. A baggie of a white crystal substance was confiscated and sent to the state crime lab for analysis.

7:18 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Adam Wayne Phillips, 29, Bella Vista, for speeding, failure to register vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia

8:04 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Washburn Drive for a report of a parked vehicle being hit by another vehicle. The driver, a 17-year-old female, said her windshield was fogged over and she couldn't see the other vehicle. She was cited for careless and prohibited driving, no seat belt and no insurance.

9:37 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police arrested Jacob Tyler Leftwich, 25, Pea Ridge, for DWI and driving without headlights.

11:16 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on Lynn Lane for a possible disturbance. The complainant reported she was being harassed by her 17-year-old son. After police left, they were again dispatched to the residence at 11:36 p.m. The adult was counselled on behaving like a parent.

Friday, Dec. 1

5:59 p.m. Police were dispatched to the area of West Pickens Road and Greene Street for a two-vehicle accident involving an injury. According to the report, Destani M. Bell, 22, Garfield, was eastbound on Pickens when a deer crossed the road in front of her. She told police she stopped to avoid hitting the deer and a vehicle following her driven by a 16-year-old male was unable to stop before hitting her vehicle. Bell was transported to the hospital by Pea Ridge Ambulance and was cited for imprudent driving.

7:43 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on West Pickens Road for a domestic disturbance involving a woman reporting that she was "physically attacked" by her 13-year-old female grandchild. The youth was transported to Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.

Saturday, Dec. 2

8:51 p.m. Police were dispatched to an area near Whitfield drive for suspicious circumstances. As a result of the investigation, police cited a 16-year-old male for possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:45 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on St. Clair Street for a report of a burglary. During the investigation, a male inside the residence refused to open the door to police and threatened to shoot through the door. In addition, two persons from a nearby home confronted police, refused to obey instructions and "used profanities" towards police. Eventually, the complainant came out of his residence unarmed. As a result of the investigation, police cited Morgan Bryant Bowen, 31, Rogers, and Michael D. Morgan, Springdale, 37, for public intoxication and disorderly conduct; and Jason Marheineke, 35, and Nicole R. Marheineke, 36, for obstructing of governmental operations due to their actions hindering police officers from being able to perform their duties.

Sunday, Dec. 3

4 p.m. Police were given items confiscated from a residence on Weston Street that the complainants were hired to clean and remodel. Items included pills and syringes.

Monday, Dec. 4

11:12 a.m. Police were dispatched to East Lee Town Road for a dog running in the road. The dog was captured and transported by a city employee to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. About 4:30 p.m. Melanie Rounds, 51, Pea Ridge, claimed the dog and was cited for dog at large.

10:51 p.m. Police were dispatched to a residence on John W. Montgomery Street for a physical disturbance. As a result of the investigation, police arrested Zachary Tyler Wesson, 23, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic assault.

Tuesday, Dec. 5

8:50 a.m. Residents of West Pickens Road reported theft of a debit card and money from their bank account. Police are seeking a felony warrant for the suspect.

4:30 p.m. Police received information about a possible stolen residence. With assistance from the Benton County Sheriff's Office, police located the vehicle, confirmed as stolen from Bella Vista, behind a residence on It'll Do Road.The suspect was reported to be in jail in Tulsa. Bella Vista Police were notified of the location of the vehicle.

5:07 p.m. Police were notified of a trailer theft from a residence on Hayden Road.

Wednesday, Dec. 6

12 p.m. As a result of a traffic stop, police cited Howard Lee Ames, 52, Seligman, Mo., for fictitious tags and failure to register a vehicle

2:15 p.m. Police were dispatched to the Walmart Neighborhood Market in regards to a handgun found in the public restroom. The .22 caliber handgun was located in the men's restroom.
