Man arrested for indecency

A 53-year-old Pea Ridge man was arrested for indecent exposure as a result of an investigation begun July 20, according to Pea Ridge Police.

An adult female employee of a business on North Curtis Avenue reported an "indecent exposure" telling police the man sat in his vehicle in the parking lot "for an extended period of time" while he also publicly exposed his genitalia, according to the police report. She reported he then entered the business, approached and spoke to her, then left without making any purchase. The complainant reported confronting the suspect about his behavior while he was still at the store.

A warrant of arrest, gained as a result of information garnered duringn the investigation, was obtained on July 28 and officers arrested Alan Fletcher at his residence for Indecent Exposure (5-14-112) Class A Misdemeanor. The suspect was transported to the BCSO Jail where he was booked, processed and incarcerated.
