Woman arrested

A Fayetteville woman was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 1, after police discovered multiple forms of illegal drugs in her possesion while on a traffic stop.

According to police, the officer was on routine patrol when he noted a black passenger car speeding on It'll Do Road. The driver, Sarah Jordan, 25, Fayetteville, gave permission to search the vehicle.

According to police, "although the substances are to be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for identification and quantity, the PRPD completed presumptive tests on items to help identify them/ determine specific criminal charges"

Items seized include bags of white powdery substance which field tested as Cocaine (1.2g); capsules containing brown powdery substance which field tested as Meth/ MDMA (1g); a bag of suspected Psilocybin mushrooms (1.6g); a container of green leafy substance suspected to be Marijuana (1o); various controlled prescription drug pills; various drug paraphernalia items; and various other suspected substances that must be identified by the Crime Lab.

Jordan was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule I- Class D Felony), two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule II- Class D Felony), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class D Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule IV- Class A Misdemeanor), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule VI- Class A Misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor).
