This will Sarah Stokes' eighth year in Pea Ridge. It is her 30th year in education, 11 of which were in teaching and the rest in administration.
Mrs. Stokes earned her bachelor's degree from Missouri Southern State College (before it was MSSU) in Joplin and her master's from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
Of her job, she said: "Everything about it is the best! I love the kids; the teachers and other building staff are amazing, caring people; my office ladies are great; I have a boss whose vision is taking the district in the right direction; we are in a community that is proactive in meeting the needs of our kids; and every day that I drive to work, I realize how grateful I am to be a part of this.
She and her husband, Dale, have four grown children and six pretty awesome grandchildren.
She enjoys traveling, photography, reading, listening to many different kinds of music, and spending time with family and friends who make me laugh.
