Blackhawk baseball coach John E. King, hired in 1988, has been with the Blackhawk baseball program nearly from the beginning. Parents of this year's seniors, which include King's son, Garrett, include Jeremy Anderson (far left) and Jarred Linam (second from right), who coached this group of boys when they were in youth baseball. Senior Cole Wright's father, Brian Wright (seventh from left), was on the first Blackhawk baseball team coached by King. Other seniors include Chandler Tidwell, A.J. Anderson, Garrett King, Cole Wright and Westin Church. Assistant coach Matt Easterling was on the Blackhawk baseball team coached by King when it won state runner up in 1994 and first in district and regional tournaments.
